intuVision VA Event - Face Matching

Face Matching compares a detected face to those enrolled in the system and alerts each time an enrolled person is detected.

intuVision VA Face Enrollment & Matching

Face Enrollment & Matching is available in intuVision VA’s Face module.

Face Enrollment allows users to enroll people into intuVision VA, making them eligible for matching. Enrolling people is done from live or recorded video and can be copied to all cameras in the system. Once a person is enrolled in the intuVision VA, each time they are in a camera view, their faces will be detected and labeled with their name or ID number. The face ID data is searchable through the intuVision Review Application, by date, time, camera name, and the person’s name or ID number.

Face Matching, compares a detected face to those enrolled in the system and alerts each time an enrolled person is detected. A match percentage setting is used to configure how narrow or broad the match criteria should be.

Face Matching triggers when a detected face matches one of the enrolled ones within the percentage match level set by the user. This functionality enables an alert for high priority guests, or keeping a record of employee movement throughout the facility, providing insights to where they travel in the facility, the times they have been in certain areas, as well as a face snapshot for verification.

In the manufacturing domain, Face Matching can be used to track employees, collecting business intelligence, alerting when people are places where they aren’t allowed, and verifying timecards. Due to the flexibility in camera placement, large areas can be monitored, as long as people’s faces are seen in the camera views.

In the retail domain, Face Matching can be used both to alert on suspicious individuals, whom might have been in the store before at the time of an incident, and their faces were enrolled using recorded video. When someone has been banned from the store for a theft or vandalism, the alert can be used to send security to escort them from the premise. Similarly repeat customers can be enrolled for special treatment each time they are in, such as to be greeted by name, or staff can be directed to assist them promptly.

In the security domain, Face Matching can be used to alert when suspicious people are on the premise and keep a record of employee movements. Face Matching can also be used to alert when someone who is not enrolled is on the premise.
