Reserved Parking Spot Event is available in intuVision VA’s Parking module.
Reserved Parking Spot event monitors the selected parking spots, generating alerts when a vehicle parks in, for example handicapped, reserved, or EV charging bays. This event can generate an alert immediately upon the spot getting occupied or after a user set time.
Reserved Parking Spot event is widely used to verify that the vehicles parking in the reserved spots have a right to be there. It can also be used to direct staff to high priority guests or sending assistance out to vehicles in handicapped spots.
Reserved Parking Spot events can be used for individual spots or for a grid for easy demarcation. intuVision VA classification learns what comprises a full vs. empty parking space and this allows tailoring detection to any scene.
Reserved Parking Spot event is typically used together with the other parking spot monitoring events – Parking Spot Occupancy and Short-Term Parking. While the other two are used on the general parking lot or garage, Reserved Parking Spot is used on a few select parking spaces.
Optional settings are available to fine-tune the event, including:
When combined with output triggers, compound events, and unlimited object classification options, Reserved Parking Spot can be further refined, to be used for meeting custom video analytics requirements with our off-the-shelf product without the need for any development time. For example, a Reserved Parking Spot could be tied to a specific access control code, clearing that spot for use by someone who has permission to park there.
