intuVision VA Core Event - Smoke & Fire

Smoke & Fire is a Core Video Analytics Event to detect the presence of smoke in a video scene.

Smoke & Fire Event

Smoke & Fire is a Core Video Analytics Event, available in all intuVision VA modules.

This event detects smoke present in the scene, and can be used both indoors and outdoors, to alarm when the smoke is visible in the camera view.

While intuVision VA Smoke Detector is not a replacement for standard smoke detectors, it offers a camera-based alternative for outdoor areas without a smoke detector. As it is included complimentary with all intuVision VA packages and can run alongside other events, it provides a low-cost backup solution for timely detection smoke or fire.

The Sensitivity setting allows for detecting varying levels of smoke in the scene.
