Deployment Details

intuVision team delivered a turn-key system starting with a complete site design, working with local contractors for camera placement, doing the site configuration remotely, and then training the customer for accessing reports.

Each check-point location consists of 6-8 passenger vehicle lanes, with additional large truck lanes. Cameras were mounted directly overhead for the passenger vehicle lanes, and for the truck lanes; only a lower, side-oblique view was possible with a pole mounted camera. Up to three lanes are monitored by each camera, providing the lowest cost for the project while still obtaining accurate data on the counts.

Advanced tools such as headlight removal ensure that good results are obtained during day and night, as well as during different weather conditions.

intuVision VA Traffic Lanes functionality supports adding lane overlays to automatically separate counts by lane. Traffic lanes feature and event reporting by vehicle classification, enables detailed counts for each lane and by vehicle classification type.
