Third in intuVision's series of video analytics for Covid-19 preventative measures is: face mask usage monitoring.

intuVision VA helps stop the spread of COVID-19 with analytics tailored for controlling the occupancy levels in stores, monitoring crowd density and loitering in public areas, and protecting patients from unsafe visitors in hospitals.

Here in the United States, as well as around the world, many states are passing regulations requiring use of face masks to enter stores and other public places. intuVision VA Face Detection can be used to detect people not wearing face masks, with ultimate flexibility in response actions after detection.

Depending on the use case scenario, intuVision's flexible output triggers and Review Application can be used to meet a range of requirements. From triggering audio alarms to warn and remind customers of face mask use, to sound a buzzer, even going as far as to interface with access control systems to lock doors, barring entrance to people not using face masks.

intuVision VA is easily deployed with any system, including ONVIF compliant RTSP cameras or with one of our integrated VMS systems. For best results, intuVision VA Face Detection requires face-level camera angles, though we feature higher flexibility than many other face detection systems on the market. Our ability to run a distributed system across Windows computers, means that the intuVision analytics can often be readily deployed without requiring additional hardware.
